First Annual Silent Auction (1998)

On Thursday, May 7th, 1998 at 6 PM in the courtyard of the Kansas Technology Center, the Friends of Axe sponsored The First Annual Silent Auction and potluck dinner. Entertainment and tours of the new Technology Center were included. The schedule was as follows:

5:00 PM - set up and arrange tables and chairs provided by the Physical Plant
6:00 PM - bring a covered dish and/or assist with taking bids and greeting people

We appreciated everyone showing up and enjoying themselves. A number of nice items went up for auction, including gift certificates, autographed sports items, a book signed by Judy Blume and much, much more. We were very grateful for everyone's interest and support.
