Books within the 700-900 Dewey range are located on the second floor. The Axe Library does not have a "Fiction" section. Instead, literary works of all kinds are cataloged in the 800's. Please check our online catalog under your favorite author to see what is available.
Please Note: - Holdings of the Pittsburg Public Library may be found in our online catalog, and a number of popular fiction titles are available. Area residents may apply for a checkout card. Please contact them for more specific information.

Study tables

There are eight individual study areas along the outside walls of the second floor. These are well lit areas with outlets for laptop or other use.
In addition, there are a number of study tables located between book stacks throughout the floor.

Juvenile Book Collection
The Library has a small collection of juvenile literature to support some of the Elementary Education and Children's Literature courses offered at PSU. Our juvenile collection is located in the far right hand corner of the room as you enter, just past the outside wall study area.
The Pittsburg Public Library offers a full range of titles for children and young adults. If you are interested in material for children, please do not pass up the opportunity to use their material.

Second Floor Classroom
The second floor classroom is available for group study, and organization or faculty meetings. Please contact the Learning Resources office at 235-4879 to schedule classroom use.
