AxeFax Telefacsimile Service

The Leonard H. Axe library has an OMNIFAX telefacsimile machine available for use, located in the Special Services area on the first floor.

Our fax number is 620/235-4090. AxeFax receives 24 hours a day, every day. Special Services personnel will send out transmissions during business hours. Ask for assistance at the Reference Desk after hours, or on weekends.

Charges for the fax service:

• RECEIVE - No charge. You are notified if the sender includes your name and telephone number.
• TRANSMIT - A cover sheet is required for all outgoing material.
  • UNITED STATES - Fifty cents for each one minute block.
  • ALL OTHER - Two dollars for each one minute block.

NOTES: Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee telephone line quality during transmission or reception quality of another fax machine. Transmissions of important documents should be followed up with a telephone call.
