Loan policy:

• No renewal
• No Lending fee - May charge for special shipping needs
• Five weeks use
  • Newspapers on microfilm: Maximum 2 reels - One week use
  • Audio/Visual: One week use
  • Journals and Reference material: Will loan with department approval
• Accept requests via:
  • OCLC
  • KicNet
  • ALA form via mail, fax, or Ariel
• International loans: loan selectively - borrower pays shipping - OCLC IFM preferred.

• We do NOT accept phone, e-mail, or subject requests

• Non-circulating:
  • Government Documents reference
  • Special Collections (includes paperback science fiction)
  • Haldeman-Julius publications (will photocopy if condition allows, see photocopy policies)
  • Materials not owned by the Axe or KTC Libraries
  • Microfiche (duplicating charges below) EXCEPT:
    LAC - Library of American Civilization (92x ultrafiche)
    LEL - Library of English Literature (92x ultrafiche)

Photocopy policy:

• We generally reciprocate free photocopies, else:
• Ten cents per page ($5.00 min.) EXCEPT:
  • Kansas Regents libraries: all pp free
  • Other Kansas libraries, BCR & Amigos/BCR libraries: 50 pp free (51pp+ = $5.10+)

Fax policy:

• Fax number: 620-235-4090 (24 hrs). Go here for general policies
• Charges:
  • All pp free, if you can reciprocate, else:
  • Kansas, BCR, Amigos/BCR, and LVIS libraries: 1-30 pp free
  • Others: $.25 per page (including cover sheet and invoice)
• Backup copy held 3-5 days

Odyssey/Ariel policy:

• We do not charge to send via Odyssey (206.107.43.64/ILL), or Ariel (198.248.210.79)
• We hold copies for one week, please contact us as soon as possible if you do not receive all pages, or if they were unreadable.

Other:

• Theses: available for loan if second copy owned
• Bill method: IFM preferred, or invoiced with material
