• Association for Research on Mothering (ARM) - First international feminist organization devoted specifically to the topic of mothering-motherhood. ARM is an association for scholars, writers, activists, professionals, agencies, policy makers, educators, parents, and artists.

• National Council of Women's Organizations (NCWO) - is a nonpartisan, nonprofit umbrella organization of almost 200 groups that collectively represent over ten million women across the United States.
