Medpedia - A collaborative medical
encyclopedia written for medical and lay audiences. Anyone can contribute
articles, but only physicians and Ph.D.s in biomedical fields are editors.
Over 100 organizations, including major medical schools and global health
organizations have joined to provide the initial content. Medpedia is primarily
a reference source, but it also serve as a clearinghouse for articles, data,
research and a platform for advancing medical knowledge and a forum for
debating medical issues.
NLM Gateway - As a portal
for all National Library of Medicine resources, the Gateway searches a wide
range of resources for the scientist as well as the consumer.
WebMD - Broad based consumer site with
