William Inge (1913-1973)
INTRODUCTION
This collection comprises the published works of William Inge (1913-1973), American playwright and novelist born in Independence, Kansas, with clippings, correspondence, and interviews pertaining to his year of teaching (1937-1938) at Cherokee County Community High School, Columbus, Kansas. It includes scripts of plays directed by Inge.
